About 120 km north of Tbilisi on the Georgian Military Road, the resort's season usually runs from December to April. Heli-skiing is also available during the season.
About 72 km from Tbilisi on the banks of the River Aragvi, the churches in this fortress complex date from the 17th century. The fortress was in use until the early 19th century.
Near the village of Stepantsminda, at an altitude of about 2,170 metres, the church stands at the foot of Mount Kazbek. In winter, access depends on weather and road conditions.

Yes. Most ski resorts have slopes suitable for beginners and ski/snowboard schools. Lessons, equipment and ski passes are generally not included in the tour price and are purchased separately; those who do not want to ski can spend their time on snow walks, sledging or local sightseeing.
It is not required; ski resorts have rental points for skis, snowboards, poles, boots and helmets. Rental equipment is usually not included in the tour. We recommend bringing personal clothing such as a waterproof jacket and trousers, gloves, thermal underwear, a hat and sunglasses.
No. The amount of snow and the opening and closing dates of the slopes vary each year depending on the weather; although some resorts support this with artificial snowmaking, natural snowfall is the deciding factor. We recommend following the resort's current snow and slope conditions before you travel.
Visa and passport requirements vary by country, passport type and date. The country table on this page shows the general situation; we share the current requirements at the quote stage.
